The Med is People & Places’ coastal resort in Ras El Hekma, spread across 307 acres on the North Coast. Designed as a calm escape from the city, it brings together contemporary Mediterranean architecture, wide stretches of water and greenery, and hotel-level services managed in partnership with Campbell Gray Hotels.

The Location

The Med sits at Km 192 on the International Coastal Road (Alexandria–Marsa Matrouh), with access from Fouka Road. It’s about 15 minutes from Dabaa Road, 30 minutes from Sidi Abdel Rahman, 40 minutes from El Alamein Airport, 1 hour from Marsa Matrouh, 2 hours from Alexandria and Borg El Arab Airport, and 3.5 hours from Cairo.

Water at Every Turn

The resort offers 100,000 m² of beachfront and 110,000 m² of swimmable lagoons, woven through landscaped greenery. At its heart, water flows down from the highest point of the site to create a chain of waterfalls and glistening lagoons, while the River Walk promenades and cycling trails lead residents through the lagoons, falls, and gardens.

Signature Destinations

The Peninsula is an 8,900 m² private island in the center of The Med, lined with white sand and palm trees and fully serviced by Le Gray. Overlooking it, Le Club by Campbell Gray Hotels is the resort’s social heart, built around an 1,800 m² circular infinity pool with all-day dining. By the Beach brings a Mediterranean town experience with restaurants, small shops, two boutique hotels, and nightlife. The Sustainability Park offers outdoor activities for all ages, along with sustainability lessons for younger residents.

Hotel-Style Living

Le Gray Beach Hotel & Residences brings five-star hospitality into everyday resort life, with housekeeping, concierge, butler service, room service and scheduled catering, fridge filling, club car transport, and a dedicated welcome-home app. Thoughtful touches continue down to the beach, with personal storage cabins so residents can walk to the sea without carrying their things, and an icebox refill service.
